LIFE LAB

Project Life Lab is Pacific School's gardening program, where the children learn nutrition and natural science in an integrated curriculum with gardening activities.

Activities include:

Eligibility

Kindergarten through 4th grade students receive 50-minute classes every week. Preschoolers also have regular visits from our garden teacher.

Pacific Elementary School district is a public single-school district, serving approximately 175 children. It has a preschool, including free morning preschool for income-qualified families. Age-eligible 4-year-olds of all income levels are served through free transitional kindergarten in the afternoons. After school care is available daily until 5:15 and is free for income-eligible families. The school provides all students with two free meals a day from our award-winning FoodLab program. Meals are cooked from scratch, with students helping to grow and cook the food, and feature local and organic ingredients as much as possible.
