The District offers public CPR classes quarterly and the dates are posted on the District Website.

Offers programs to prevent and mitigate the threats associated with fire, medical emergencies, hazardous materials, and accidental injury through prevention and public education activities. The department is also responsible for managing the City's safety and disaster management programs.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
5200 Soquel Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95060
Provides law enforcement, crime investigation, detention and corrections services in Santa Cruz County. Also operates an anonymous crime reporting line 24 hours daily.
Also recruits and trains volunteers to provide voluntary work at the sheriff's office. Volunteers are trained to do data entry, take crime reports, and to answer citizen's questions, both on the phone and in the centers.
