Youth development support in Santa Cruz High School in partnership with the Latino Student Union. Promote and provide youth with spiritual and cultural enrichment, development, dropout prevention, social justice education, crisis counseling, tutoring, and family support.

Provides law enforcement and emergency services within the City of Scotts Valley. Works to protect the life and property of the community members by promoting safety, reducing crime and preserving the peace.

Investigates sudden, unexplained, violent, and unnatural deaths to determine cause and manner of death.

Enforces laws and ordinances and preserves the peace within the city of Santa Cruz. Accepts and processes applications for certain city permits such as alarm registration, one day liquor license, sound amplification permits, special events and taxi car driver permits.

Provides individual case management services, a variety of pro-social activities and parent workshops to support student's academic and social success at school.
