The location provides easy access to public transportation and is in the heart of West Side Santa Cruz, which is bustling with activities and local businesses. Description: Cleveland House is a beautiful 6-bed, female-only facility which provides a safe environment for likeminded sisters in recovery. Located near busy Mission Street in Santa Cruz's beautiful Residential West Side, residents will have access to many local eateries, businesses, activities and job opportunities. Residents are encouraged to live independently in this supportive, community based setting. Residents are encouraged to develop and practice life skills and relationship building. In this supported environment, residents are able to develop a stronger sense of accountability, responsibility and community to further their recovery. Description: Located just off historic Highway 1 in Aptos, CA, Freedom House is a sober living home for 12 men who are actively engaged in recovery. The multi-story home sits on a large wooded lot, in a quiet and serene setting. Freedom House is located far away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Cruz, with convenient public transportation access. At Freedom house, clients receive the benefits of community support from recovery peers as well as bilingual house management. Residents build community connections by attending weekly house meetings where rules and policies are frequently reviewed and assessed which helps to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents. The Family & Children's Services Transition Age Youth (TAY) program serves current and former foster youth age 15-24 with a range of services to assist youth in making a healthy transition to adulthood. Programs include counseling, skill-building, a drop-in center and subsidized supportive housing.

TAY programs include:
. The Independent Living Program (ILP) serves current and former foster and probation placement youth age 15-21. It assists youth to develop independent living skills to successfully transition to self-sufficiency and includes services such as one-on-one counseling, assistance in obtaining ID cards, driving permits and licenses and workshops on topics that assist youth in achieving personal, education and vocational goals.
. The Transitional Housing Program is a supportive housing program for former non-minor dependents and foster youth between the ages 18-24. Youth are supported with financial assistance, educational expenses, emotional support, life skills coaching, and referral to community resources to help them achieve the financial stability necessary to succeed in independent living.

Santa Cruz Residential Recovery offers a 30-bed co-ed residential program, serving clients for 30-90 days, based on individual needs. Staffed by a highly skilled and trained team, certified clinicians help clients focusing on issues surrounding recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders. Program activities include evidence-based trauma informed and cognitive behavior therapies (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as focused individual and group counseling, pro-social life skill building, mindfulness and daily house meetings.
