Provides comprehensive, strengths-based, culturally and linguistically appropriate behavioral health services for Medi-Cal eligible children and youth who have moderate to severe behavioral health needs.

Services include assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy (individual, family), case management, and psychiatric care (evaluation and medication management). Services delivered at County behavioral health clinic locations, community, or home-based settings, as clinically appropriate.

The Access Team provides 24-hour confidential crisis intervention and referral services (800-952-2335).

Provides substance use disorder prevention, early intervention, and treatment services across the continuum of care.

S? SE PUEDE

S Se Puede is one of the only bilingual and monolingual treatment environments in the nation. This 23-bed residential program serves Spanish speaking, male clientele for a 30-90-day period, based on individual client needs. Staffed by a bilingual team, highly skilled, trained, and certified clinicians help clients focusing on issues surrounding recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders. Program activities include evidence-based trauma informed and cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as focused individual and group counseling, pro-social life skill building, mindfulness, and daily house meetings.

Description: Located just outside of Downtown Santa Cruz, CA, this 8-bed, all male facility provides a healthy balance of independence and support. The location provides easy access to public transportation and is in the heart of West Side Santa Cruz, which is bustling with activities and local businesses. At Weeks SLE, residents are encouraged to practice healthy relationships, accountability and responsibility. Active participation in some form of recovery program is required for residents, as well as attending regular house meetings and community chores. CLEVELAND HOUSE
Description: Cleveland House is a beautiful 6-bed, female-only facility which provides a safe environment for likeminded sisters in recovery. Located near busy Mission Street in Santa Cruz's beautiful Residential West Side, residents will have access to many local eateries, businesses, activities and job opportunities. Residents are encouraged to live independently in this supportive, community based setting. Residents are encouraged to develop and practice life skills and relationship building. In this supported environment, residents are able to develop a stronger sense of accountability, responsibility and community to further their recovery. FREEDOM HOUSEDescription: Located just off historic Highway 1 in Aptos, CA, Freedom House is a sober living home for 12 men who are actively engaged in recovery. The multi-story home sits on a large wooded lot, in a quiet and serene setting. Freedom House is located far away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Cruz, with convenient public transportation access. At Freedom house, clients receive the benefits of community support from recovery peers as well as bilingual house management. Residents build community connections by attending weekly house meetings where rules and policies are frequently reviewed and assessed which helps to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents. Provides a sub-acute withdrawal management program that offers closely supervised, 24-hour residential care in a comfortable, safe environment. Withdrawal management is offered as a stand-alone program, but most people transition to another of Janus' Recovery Programs when they are finished with the process.

Introduction: The Juvenile Services Division is responsible for the intake, investigation, pre and post adjudication services which include alternatives to detention programs and community supervision, out-of-home placement, and prevention of out of home placement for juveniles referred to the Probation Department.

Description: Located just outside of Downtown Santa Cruz, CA, this 8-bed, all male facility provides a healthy balance of independence and support. The location provides easy access to public transportation and is in the heart of West Side Santa Cruz, which is bustling with activities and local businesses. At Weeks SLE, residents are encouraged to practice healthy relationships, accountability and responsibility. Active participation in some form of recovery program is required for residents, as well as attending regular house meetings and community chores. CLEVELAND HOUSE
Description: Cleveland House is a beautiful 6-bed, female-only facility which provides a safe environment for likeminded sisters in recovery. Located near busy Mission Street in Santa Cruz's beautiful Residential West Side, residents will have access to many local eateries, businesses, activities and job opportunities. Residents are encouraged to live independently in this supportive, community based setting. Residents are encouraged to develop and practice life skills and relationship building. In this supported environment, residents are able to develop a stronger sense of accountability, responsibility and community to further their recovery. FREEDOM HOUSEDescription: Located just off historic Highway 1 in Aptos, CA, Freedom House is a sober living home for 12 men who are actively engaged in recovery. The multi-story home sits on a large wooded lot, in a quiet and serene setting. Freedom House is located far away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Cruz, with convenient public transportation access. At Freedom house, clients receive the benefits of community support from recovery peers as well as bilingual house management. Residents build community connections by attending weekly house meetings where rules and policies are frequently reviewed and assessed which helps to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents. FAMILIES TOGETHER | ENCOMPASS COMMUNITY SERVICES

FAMILIES TOGETHER

Families Together provides counseling, parenting support, and case management to families using a home visiting model and a client-centered approach to services. Caregivers participate in the development of an individualized service plan based on their unique strengths and needs.

Families referred by Santa Cruz County Family & Children's Services or CalWORKs are assigned a therapist who helps design customized services, including sessions in English or Spanish, and in the home or other preferred location. Families learn about parenting, child development, parent-child attachment, and general wellness. In addition to counseling, home visitors connect families with other community resources such as substance use counseling, interpersonal violence services, and early education support.

CASA PACIFIC

Treatment Focus: Helping individuals maintain sobriety and transition to independent living
Casa Pacific is part of an innovative project centered around work and meaningful daily activities, as the core of the co-occurring disorders treatment approach. Residents attend the Community Connection's Mariposa Center to learn vocational skills and participate in various volunteer jobs, or they participate in the Community Action Board's Alcanse work crew. Other activities include socialization, recreation, accessing community resources, on-site recovery meetings and individualized attention to assist residents in maintaining sobriety, reaching their personal goals, and transitioning into independent community living

TAY (TRANSITION AGE YOUTH) | ENCOMPASS COMMUNITY SERVICES

TAY (TRANSITION AGE YOUTH)

We provide resources and services to empower youth ages 15-24 who have or have had experiences with foster care placement, juvenile justice, homelessness/housing instability, or trauma related to being a victim of a crime. TAY also offers counseling, skills building, a drop-in resource center, and subsidized supportive housing.
