Eligibility

Clients having mild withdrawal symptoms from alcohol or other substances who do not have other serious medical or psychiatric conditions do not generally need to be hospitalized for detoxification. All clients who wish to enter are assessed for this level of care using ASAM assessment criteria. Participants who present with independence with activities of daily living will be eligible for care.

Application process

Open access to Withdrawal Management Tuesday-Friday, 8-10am for Santa Cruz Medi-Cal Recipients. All other inquiries call to schedule assessment and eligibility.

Provides a sub-acute withdrawal management program that offers closely supervised, 24-hour residential care in a comfortable, safe environment. Withdrawal management is offered as a stand-alone program, but most people transition to another of Janus' Recovery Programs when they are finished with the process.
