Outdoor Science School is a week of hands-on science. The camp is set in a natural environment where students can learn about science by experiencing it in the world around them.

The district serves students residing in the City of Santa Cruz and in county locations from Davenport to Soquel. There are six schools serving nearly 2,000 students in the elementary district. The secondary district includes two middle schools, three comprehensive high schools.
