Eligibility

Must be a California resident AND income eligible (See Eligibility by Federal Poverty Level chart.) OR eligible through a Medi-Cal special program. Medi-Cal special program eligibility includes: -Pregnant women -Children under 21 years old -Parent/Caretaker Relative of an age-eligible child -Individuals 65 years of age or older -Individuals who are blind or disabled -Adult or child in a long-term care facility Starting 7/1/26: Undocumented adults aged 19 and older only qualify for emergency, pregnancy, or nursing home-related services and emergency dental care. There will be additional changes to Medi-Cal related to asset limits, eligibility for full scope versus emergency coverage, and paying a premium rolled out through 2028.
