Description


Provides transitional employment, job training and support services in a community-supported organic garden and related work enterprises. On-the-job training program is up to one year. Each participants works a consistent schedule and must set and work toward goals for shelter, education and/or employment. Offers a lecture series during the growing season and a retail store that sells products from the farm.

The Homeless Garden Project provides job training, transitional employment, and support services to people who are experiencing homelessness. HGP's vibrant education and volunteer program for the broad community blends formal, experiential and service-learning. The programs take place in our 3-acre organic farm and related enterprises.
