Provides law enforcement and emergency services within the City of Scotts Valley. Works to protect the life and property of the community members by promoting safety, reducing crime and preserving the peace.

Enforces laws and ordinances and preserves the peace within the city of Santa Cruz. Accepts and processes applications for certain city permits such as alarm registration, one day liquor license, sound amplification permits, special events and taxi car driver permits.
