FOSTERED/FOSTER YOUTH SERVICES COORDINATING PROGRAM | SANTA CRUZ COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION

Provides guidance, advocacy, community organization, teaming, collaboration, and education case management around the issues of school success for students involved in the foster care system, including students living with their birth families but with child welfare involvement.

CAREER CENTER | GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SANTA CRUZ, MONTEREY AND SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTIES

Operates a career center where people can have access to computers, fax, copy machines, online job banks, job posting boards, job search assistance, resume assistance, job fairs, computer and typing testing and certification, referrals and information on local resources. Vocational rehabilitation service is described separately.

TAY (TRANSITION AGE YOUTH) | ENCOMPASS COMMUNITY SERVICES

We provide resources and services to empower youth ages 15-24 who have or have had experiences with foster care placement, juvenile justice, homelessness/housing instability, or trauma related to being a victim of a crime. TAY also offers counseling, skills building, a drop-in resource center, and subsidized supportive housing.
