Oversees and facilitates educational services for students with disabilities in the Pajaro Valley Unified School District. Supports special education and related services in the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). Provides a full range of comprehensive services to meet the educational needs of all individuals with disabilities, including preschool enrichment and speech therapy.

Administers the following services: Regional Occupational Programs, Santa Cruz County Outdoor School, Santa Cruz County Special Education and Child Development Resource Center. Also administers the Juvenile Hall and Community Schools, Alternative Education Programs, Academic Contests, Teacher Training and Staff Development.

Youth Services: Community Advocacy, Job/Internship Placement, Socio-Emotional Learning, Youth Advocacy/Civic Engagement.
