Through The Diversity Center's Youth Program, we offer support to teens, families, and schools on issues of gender, sexuality, acceptance, and overcoming discrimination. We ask all participants to complete our Community Connection Survey annually.

We co-host Rainbow Kids a monthly 90 minute playgroup for gender diverse, LGBTQ+ kids and allies elementary school age 5-11 and their families.

The Rainbow Garden Club meets monthly at The Diversity Center. Together we connect with nature and make new friends. Help us care for our Rainbow Healing Garden in our backyard. Plant new ideas and watch them grow! Connecting with the healing power of the natural world can help us relax and tap into our imaginations. Together, we will create a healing space in our hearts and community.

At our monthly Prismatic LGBTQ+ Youth Gatherings we embrace diversity, empowerment, and unity. Together, we go on adventures together and create spaces where LGBTQ+ youth ages 11-18 can relax and have fun! Our Prismatic Gatherings include engaging activities that promote connection, belonging and laughter while we embrace our unique identities and perspectives.

Genderventures is a monthly gender-diverse support group open to people ages 11-18 who are wanting to explore and understand how our gender informs the way we experience the world. Gender is a journey that we all traverse, and rather it's trotting, skipping, or sashaying- every single one of us must navigate our own gender identity. One of the best ways to freely explore gender diversity safely, is to do so with community! Genderventures will offer tangible skills for individuals wanting to investigate their own gender identity or expression, or for allies who are seeking skills to support and discuss these topics.

We host an annual Queer Prom and Camp OUT for LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 14-18.

YW-Leaders is in essence YW-Teens at the high school and college level. Originally steaming from our YW-Teens participants, the YWCA of Watsonville accepts volunteers from high school to college students who are interested in developing their skills further. Participants are trained as co-facilitators and join staff during YW-Teen Programming or many of our other programs.
