RESIDENTIAL AND WITHDRAWAL MANAGEMENT

Provides a sub-acute withdrawal management program that offers closely supervised, 24-hour residential care in a comfortable, safe environment. Withdrawal management is offered as a stand-alone program, but most people transition to another of Janus' Recovery Programs when they are finished with the process.

EL DORADO CENTER

Treatment Focus: Helping individuals step down from locked care
El Dorado Center (EDC) is a community-based, short-term treatment program for individuals who may be stepping down from locked care. An intensive, structured residential program, EDC is an unlocked, home-like environment facilitating the healing process in preparation for transitioning back to community living. Our staff provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, structured activities, community outings, and assistance with independent living skills and connecting to the community. A registered nurse is on staff and a County psychiatrist is available for medication monitoring and management.

TAY (TRANSITION AGE YOUTH)

We provide resources and services to empower youth ages 15-24 who have or have had experiences with foster care placement, juvenile justice, homelessness/housing instability, or trauma related to being a victim of a crime. TAY also offers counseling, skills building, a drop-in resource center, and subsidized supportive housing.

EATING DISORDER INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP). | THE LOTUS COLLABORATIVE

EATING DISORDER INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP).

The Lotus Collaborative Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for eating disorder recovery offers clients 3 hours of support 4-7 days a week. Treatment days of our IOP include group therapy, nutrition education, and one supervised meal or snack. Clients receive weekly individual therapy with a Lotus primary therapist and dietary sessions with a registered dietitian. Our IOP programming offers a variety of scheduling options including an evening Professional Track for those maintaining a busy work, school or family schedule.

SURVIVORS HEALING CENTER

Services include therapy groups/survivor support groups for women, men, all-genders, parents of survivors and Latina survivors, workshops on Healing the Brain and the Nervous System, Relationships and Connection, Healing and the Body, Compassionate Communication, Creativity, lending library, information and referrals, special events and a safe place for fellowship and peer support. We also provide training, resources, presentations, and outreach to the community around the issue of child sexual abuse and sexual violence.

CASA OF SANTA CRUZ COUNTY

Trains volunteers to work with children who have been removed from their homes, declared dependents of the court due to abuse, neglect or abandonment and placed in foster care.

Court Appointed Special Advocates work for a judge, alongside attorneys and social workers, as sworn officers of the court to advocate for children. Advocates receive an initial 35 hours of training and volunteer 10-15 hours per month on behalf of one child. The volunteer advocates on behalf of the child until the case is resolved.

Youth Services: Academic Support, Career Exploration and Development, Health and Wellness, Social-Emotional Support, Youth Leadership.

RETURN PROJECT (RE-ENTRY SERVICES)


The ReTURN program provides therapy and mental health services for AB109 eligible probation clients who are adjusting to life after serving a jail or prison term. ReTURN helps clients gain pro-social skills, repair relationships, and attain and maintain sobriety.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments, individual and family cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, and system navigation management to assist clients in transitioning from incarceration back into the community.

Provides comprehensive, strengths-based, culturally and linguistically appropriate behavioral health services for Medi-Cal eligible children and youth who have moderate to severe behavioral health needs.

Services include assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy (individual, family), case management, and psychiatric care (evaluation and medication management). Services delivered at County behavioral health clinic locations, community, or home-based settings, as clinically appropriate.

The Access Team provides 24-hour confidential crisis intervention and referral services (800-952-2335).

Provides substance use disorder prevention, early intervention, and treatment services across the continuum of care.
