TRANSITION AGE YOUTH
The Family & Children's Services Child Protective Services (CPS) provides protection for children who are at risk of or are victims of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, or emotional or physical neglect, with a focus on the safety of the child and support for parents to strengthen families and promote safe nurturing homes for children. We screen for and investigate reports of abuse, neglect, or harm, assess for safety and risk, and provides families with referrals to community resources. We also provide supportive services to children and families in their homes, provide out-of-home placement and permanency planning when necessary, and provide services to help foster youth transition into adulthood. Child protective services also provides educational workshops and trainings on identifying and preventing commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), and how to engage/work with CSEC. SUPPORT GROUPS
All-volunteer organization providing peer support for parents and their loved ones who are grieving the loss of a baby before, during or after birth. Offers in-person and virtual grief support group meetings for pregnancy and infant loss, and specialized virtual support groups: Early Pregnancy Loss, Parenting After Loss, Subsequent Pregnancy. Also offers one-on-one peer support, information and resources, presentations for healthcare providers, and limited financial assistance to help eligible families with funeral expenses.

CRC cultivates peace in the community by providing tools, training, and a guided process for people in conflict. Our services are affordable, confidential, and available to all. We offer workshops for youth and parents. Gain skills to prevent conflict from escalating. Increase your sense of self-awareness and how you respond to conflict. Learn tools to recognize your emotions and identify your needs so that you can communicate better. We offer Parent-Teen or Family Mediation services, as well as conflict resolution coaching. HOMELESS SERVICES
In the Monterey/San Benito Counties Continuum of Care (CoC), the system is referred to as the Coordinated Assessment and Referral System (CARS).
In addition to a CARS assessment, and if you meet the program requirements, CCCIL can provide Housing Services through our HHAP Program (Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention). CCCIL's HHAP Program provides Rapid Re-Housing (RRH)) services to Monterey and San Benito County Residents. HHAP services are intended to help eligible participants who are literally homeless and collaborate with the applicant to obtain permanent housing; and achieve housing stability.

- Crisis counseling, including one-on-one sessions
- Referrals and information about domestic violence or sexual assault
- Assist the caller in developing a safety plan
- Provide emergency response for survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault
- Accompaniment to an evidence examination if appropriate

DOWNTOWN SENIORS OF SANTA CRUZ
The Downtown Senior Center aims to keep older adults active, engaged and connected with the community through recreation, education and technology. With a variety of classes, activities, trips and services for adults age 50+, there is something for everyone.
Serves a hot lunch and offers special activities. Provides recreation programs for seniors and soon-to-be seniors. Offers exercise classes, Yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, book club, creative writing, special events, line dancing, walking/hiking club.
SENIOR COMPUTER CENTER
The Senior Computer Center offers members (55 years & up) the opportunity to learn and troubleshoot technical issues on laptops, iPads, tablets, smart-phones and more, all led by volunteer instructors. Membership is $25/year and benefits include one-hour appointments with a tech tutor catered to YOUR tech device and joining Special Interest Groups to learn new skills.
