SPECIALTY CARE PROGRAM
Dientes offers comprehensive specialty care for patients who previously had to leave the county and wait several months to access services, because there was no endodontist or oral surgeon in Santa Cruz County that accepted Medi-Cal. Through our Specialty Care Program, adults and children can receive root canals, extractions, and other surgical procedures from an oral surgeon and endodontist.
LIVE OAK COMMUNITY RESOURCES
PARENTING: Provides positive parenting educational classes, support groups, and individual coaching sessions. Administers free summer lunches for children.
FOOD: Provides food distribution services to community members.
MENTAL HEALTH: Offers free mental health counseling, advocacy, and emotional support for youth, families, and individuals. Assists participants with developing healthy coping mechanisms and stress management techniques.
LEGAL AND HOUSING: Provides comprehensive housing rights education, personalized case management, advocacy, and counseling for tenants and landlords. Offers mediation, legal case evaluations, document preparation, and representation to resolve housing disputes and evictions.
STORM RECOVERY: Administers storm recovery relief through financial assistance, clean-up tools, and disaster navigation. Provides federal housing navigation support to assist individuals with locating housing options, securing emergency rental assistance, and connecting to community resources.
ELDERDAY ADULT DAY HEALTH CARE
Provides adult day health care to promote independence and prevent institutional placement. Offers health monitoring, care coordination, family support, therapeutic activities, and physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
SURVIVORS/VICTIMS OF CRIME
Provides advocacy, case management, systems navigation, and mental health services for crime victims and survivors. Offers legal and immigration assistance, including support with court proceedings and documentation, alongside basic needs provisions.
PUBLIC BENEFITS ENROLLMENT ASSISTANCE AND EDUCATION
Provides screening and enrollment assistance to community members seeking Medi-Cal coverage. Assists participants with understanding eligibility requirements, completing applications, and updating case information. Supports current Medi-Cal enrollees with renewal and understanding recent and future changes to Medi-Cal eligibility.
Provides public benefits enrollment assistance for CalFresh, CalWORKS/TANF, WIC, and State Unemployment Insurance.

HOMELESS PERSONS HEALTH PROJECT
Provides comprehensive case management, community resource navigation, and information and referrals for individuals experiencing homelessness. Offers health screenings, HIV testing, substance use disorder counseling, and health education services. Supplies basic needs assistance, including hygiene products and pet food.

DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S VICTIM/WITNESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Provides emotional, financial, and informational support to crime victims and witnesses. Advocacy services include crisis intervention, court support, compensation assistance, and guidance through the criminal justice system. Eligible victims may also receive financial compensation for expenses.
ASES (AFTER SCHOOL EDUCATION AND SAFETY)
Provides after-school educational support, homework tutoring, and skill reinforcement in math and reading. Offers enrichment activities including art, creative writing, math games, cooking, dance, music, soccer, and team-building exercises. Provides daily snacks and Wednesday suppers for participating students.
