The Family & Children's Services Foster Care Program provides foster parent recruitment, licensing of relative caregiver and foster family homes, training and support for relative caregivers and foster families and enforcement of foster care regulations. The Adoptions Program places children who are unable to live safely with their birth family into permanent homes. We recruit and screen prospective adoptive parents, finalize adoptions, provide post-adoption services and provide services to birth parents who choose to voluntarily relinquish their parental rights. The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Delta Dental of California, awarded Dientes Community Dental Care and Salud Para La Gente membership as the Senior Oral Health Coalition Program. The multi-year program launched in April 2022 to address the oral health crisis among older adults in the U.S. Our coalition promotes the connection between oral health and overall health, improve access and create greater equity in the care and treatment older adults receive.
